Based on the US Census Bureau's special tabulation from the ACS 5-year estimates, in 2018, the citizen voting-age population for Illinois was 9,055,185 and represented 70.63% of the total Illinois population.

Among all Illinois counties, Cook had the highest citizen voting-age population (3.55M), followed by DuPage (648.09K), and Will (476.82K).

In terms of percentages, Pope had the highest percentage of its population being citizens of voting-age (85.29%), followed by Brown (82.62%), and Hardin (82.29%).
