Based on the US Census Bureau's special tabulation from the ACS 5-year estimates, in 2018, the citizen voting-age population for Maine was 1,059,540 and represented 79.50% of the total Maine population.

Among all Maine counties, Cumberland had the highest citizen voting-age population (228.66K), followed by York (161.77K), and Penobscot (121.78K).

In terms of percentages, Lincoln had the highest percentage of its population being citizens of voting-age (82.23%), followed by Piscataquis (81.79%), and Franklin (81.20%).
