Based on the US Census Bureau's special tabulation from the ACS 5-year estimates, in 2019, the Non-Hispanic Black Alone citizen population for Illinois was 1,287,245 and represented 10.83% of the total Illinois citizen population.

Among all Illinois counties, Cook had the highest Non-Hispanic Black Alone citizen population (1.19M), followed by St. Clair (77.81K), and Will (75.54K).

In terms of percentages, Alexander had the highest percentage of its citizen population being Non-Hispanic Black Alone (33.41%), followed by Pulaski (30.23%), and St. Clair (30.15%).
