Based on the US Census Bureau's special tabulation from the ACS 5-year estimates, in 2019, the citizen voting-age population for Illinois was 9,049,960 and represented 70.86% of the total Illinois population.

Among all Illinois counties, Cook had the highest citizen voting-age population (3.54M), followed by DuPage (650.01K), and Will (479.66K).

In terms of percentages, Pope had the highest percentage of its population being citizens of voting-age (84.54%), followed by Hardin (82.74%), and Brown (81.37%).
