Based on the US Census Bureau's special tabulation from the ACS 5-year estimates, in 2019, the citizen voting-age population for North Carolina was 7,514,970 and represented 73.21% of the total North Carolina population.

Among all North Carolina counties, Wake had the highest citizen voting-age population (737.40K), followed by Mecklenburg (724.17K), and Guilford (382.32K).

In terms of percentages, Watauga had the highest percentage of its population being citizens of voting-age (85.33%), followed by Pamlico (83.35%), and Tyrrell (83.15%).
