According to the US Census Bureau estimates, in 2019, the death rate for California was 7.04. Alpine had the highest death rate (15.5), followed by Trinity (13.8), and Lake (13.55). On the other hand, Mono had the lowest death rate (2.43), followed by Lassen (5.31), and San Benito (5.43).
