Based on the US Census Vintage data estimates, in 2010, there were 4,811,199 people that identified as Non-Hispanic White alone in Tennessee and they represented 75.70% of the total population of Tennessee in 2010. Knox County had the highest number of Non-Hispanic White alone population (363,569), followed by Davidson County (361,101), and Shelby County (359,314). On the other hand, Pickett County had the lowest number of Non-Hispanic White alone (4,962), followed by Lake County (5,408), and Van Buren County (5,425).

When it comes to the percentage of each county's population that identified as Non-Hispanic White alone, Scott County had the highest percentage (98.09%), followed by Hancock County (97.97%), and Pickett County (97.64%).
