According to the US Census Bureau estimates, in 2015, the net domestic migration for Vermont was -2,162. Orleans County had the highest net domestic migration (53) followed by Essex County (45), and Lamoille County (3). On the other hand, Chittenden County had the lowest net domestic migration (-545), followed by Washington County (-391), and Windham County (-379).
