According to the US Census Bureau estimates, in 2020, the net domestic migration for Virginia was -9,130. Chesterfield County had the highest net domestic migration (3,453) followed by Loudoun County (3,207), and Stafford County (2,010). On the other hand, Fairfax County had the lowest net domestic migration (-15,196), followed by Alexandria city (-3,172), and Norfolk city (-2,337).
