According to the US Census Bureau estimates, in 2022, the net domestic migration for West Virginia was 474. Berkeley County had the highest net domestic migration (3,087) followed by Jefferson County (429), and Morgan County (272). On the other hand, Kanawha County had the lowest net domestic migration (-951), followed by McDowell County (-354), and Mingo County (-345).
