US Property Crime Clearance Rate By Crime Type in 2016

According to the FBI UCR data, in 2016, the clearance rate of Property Crimes for all US agencies was 18.3%. Property crimes are crimes were a property is damaged, destroyed, or stolen without the use of force against the victim.
Arson had the highest clearance rate (20.8%), followed by Larceny-Theft (20.4%), and Motor Vehicle Theft (13.3%).
