US Property Crime Clearance Rate By Crime Type in 2020

According to the FBI UCR data, in 2020, the clearance rate of Property Crimes for all US agencies was 14.6%. Property crimes are crimes were a property is damaged, destroyed, or stolen without the use of force against the victim.

Arson had the highest clearance rate (21.5%), followed by Larceny-Theft (15.1%), and Burglary (14%).
