US Violent Crime Clearance Rate By Crime Type in 2020

According to the FBI UCR data, in 2020, the clearance rate of Violent Crimes for all US agencies was 41.7%. Violent crimes are crimes which involve force or threat of force.
Murder and Non-Negligent Manslaughter had the highest clearance rate (54.4%), followed by Aggravated Assault (46.4%), and Rape (30.6%).
