US Violent Crime Clearance Rate By Crime Type in 2023

According to the FBI UCR data, in 2023, the clearance rate of Violent Crimes for all US agencies was 41.1%. Violent crimes are crimes which involve force or threat of force.

Murder and Non-Negligent Manslaughter had the highest clearance rate (57.8%), followed by Aggravated Assault (46.1%), and Robbery (27.6%).
