US Violent Crime Clearance Rate By Crime Type in 2022

According to the FBI UCR data, in 2022, the clearance rate of Violent Crimes for all US agencies was 36.7%. Violent crimes are crimes which involve force or threat of force.

Murder and Non-Negligent Manslaughter had the highest clearance rate (52.3%), followed by Aggravated Assault (41.4%), and Rape (26.1%).
