US Violent Crime Clearance Rate By Crime Type in 2011

According to the FBI UCR data, in 2011, the clearance rate of Violent Crimes for all US agencies was 47.7%. Violent crimes are crimes which involve force or threat of force.
Murder and Non-Negligent Manslaughter had the highest clearance rate (64.8%), followed by Aggravated Assault (56.9%), and Rape (41.2%).
