US Violent Crime Clearance Rate By Crime Type in 2015

According to the FBI UCR data, in 2015, the clearance rate of Violent Crimes for all US agencies was 46%. Violent crimes are crimes which involve force or threat of force.

Murder and Non-Negligent Manslaughter had the highest clearance rate (61.5%), followed by Aggravated Assault (54%), and Rape (37.8%).
