US Violent Crime Clearance Rate By Crime Type in 2018

According to the FBI UCR data, in 2018, the clearance rate of Violent Crimes for all US agencies was 45.5%. Violent crimes are crimes which involve force or threat of force.

Murder and Non-Negligent Manslaughter had the highest clearance rate (62.3%), followed by Aggravated Assault (52.5%), and Rape (33.4%).
