US Violent Crime Clearance Rate By Crime Type in 2012

According to the FBI UCR data, in 2012, the clearance rate of Violent Crimes for all US agencies was 46.8%. Violent crimes are crimes which involve force or threat of force.

Murder and Non-Negligent Manslaughter had the highest clearance rate (62.5%), followed by Aggravated Assault (55.8%), and Rape (40.1%).
