US Violent Crime Clearance Rate By Crime Type in 2024

According to the FBI UCR data, in 2024, the clearance rate of Violent Crimes for all US agencies was 43.8%. Violent crimes are crimes which involve force or threat of force.
Murder and Non-Negligent Manslaughter had the highest clearance rate (61.4%), followed by Aggravated Assault (49.1%), and Robbery (30.4%).
