US Property Crime Clearance Rate By Crime Type in 2012

According to the FBI UCR data, in 2012, the clearance rate of Property Crimes for all US agencies was 19%. Property crimes are crimes were a property is damaged, destroyed, or stolen without the use of force against the victim.

Larceny-Theft had the highest clearance rate (22%), followed by Arson (20.4%), and Burglary (12.7%).
