US Property Crime Clearance Rate By Crime Type in 2017

According to the FBI UCR data, in 2017, the clearance rate of Property Crimes for all US agencies was 17.6%. Property crimes are crimes were a property is damaged, destroyed, or stolen without the use of force against the victim.

Arson had the highest clearance rate (21.7%), followed by Larceny-Theft (19.2%), and Motor Vehicle Theft (13.7%).
