US Property Crime Clearance Rate By Crime Type in 2019

According to the FBI UCR data, in 2019, the clearance rate of Property Crimes for all US agencies was 17.2%. Property crimes are crimes were a property is damaged, destroyed, or stolen without the use of force against the victim.

Arson had the highest clearance rate (23.8%), followed by Larceny-Theft (18.4%), and Burglary (14.1%).
