Based on the US Census Bureau's special tabulation from the ACS 5-year estimates, in 2019, the citizen voting-age population for Maine was 1,064,670 and represented 79.72% of the total Maine population.

Among all Maine counties, Cumberland had the highest citizen voting-age population (230.97K), followed by York (163.10K), and Penobscot (122.09K).

In terms of percentages, Lincoln had the highest percentage of its population being citizens of voting-age (82.37%), followed by Piscataquis (81.71%), and Franklin (81.42%).
