Based on the US Census Vintage data estimates, in 2023, there were 85,596 people that identified as Non-Hispanic Asian alone in Iowa and they represented 2.67% of the total population of Iowa in 2023. Polk County had the highest number of Non-Hispanic Asian alone population (25,856), followed by Johnson County (9,634), and Story County (7,202). On the other hand, Fremont County had the lowest number of Non-Hispanic Asian alone (24), followed by Adams County (25), and Taylor County (26).

When it comes to the percentage of each county's population that identified as Non-Hispanic Asian alone, Buena Vista County had the highest percentage (9.59%), followed by Jefferson County (7.69%), and Story County (7.31%).
