Based on the US Census Vintage data estimates, in 2015, there were 325,144 people that identified as Non-Hispanic Black or African American alone in Minnesota and they represented 5.93% of the total population of Minnesota in 2015. Hennepin County had the highest number of Non-Hispanic Black or African American alone population (155,072), followed by Ramsey County (61,962), and Dakota County (23,634).
