According to the US Census Bureau estimates, in 2021, the net domestic migration for Massachusetts was -26,269. Hampshire County had the highest net domestic migration (17,970) followed by Barnstable County (6,095), and Bristol County (2,781). On the other hand, Suffolk County had the lowest net domestic migration (-27,830), followed by Middlesex County (-19,699), and Essex County (-3,690).
