Based on the US Census Vintage data estimates, in 2016, there were 384,160 people that identified as Non-Hispanic Asian alone in Maryland and they represented 6.40% of the total population of Maryland in 2016. Montgomery County had the highest number of Non-Hispanic Asian alone population (157,528), followed by Howard County (57,055), and Baltimore County (50,460). On the other hand, Garrett County had the lowest number of Non-Hispanic Asian alone (110), followed by Somerset County (208), and Kent County (232).
