Based on the US Census Vintage data estimates, in 2023, there were 385,637 people that identified as Non-Hispanic Asian alone in North Carolina and they represented 3.56% of the total population of North Carolina in 2023. Wake County had the highest number of Non-Hispanic Asian alone population (110,279), followed by Mecklenburg County (76,182), and Guilford County (30,649). On the other hand, Hyde County had the lowest number of Non-Hispanic Asian alone (32), followed by Gates County (50), and Washington County (52).

When it comes to the percentage of each county's population that identified as Non-Hispanic Asian alone, Wake County had the highest percentage (9.27%), followed by Orange County (7.98%), and Cabarrus County (6.89%).
