Based on the US Census Vintage data estimates, in 2021, there were 348,781 people that identified as Non-Hispanic Asian alone in North Carolina and they represented 3.30% of the total population of North Carolina in 2021. Wake County had the highest number of Non-Hispanic Asian alone population (94,942), followed by Mecklenburg County (72,042), and Guilford County (29,222). On the other hand, Hyde County had the lowest number of Non-Hispanic Asian alone (32), followed by Washington County (43), and Clay County (44).

When it comes to the percentage of each county's population that identified as Non-Hispanic Asian alone, Wake County had the highest percentage (8.24%), followed by Orange County (7.78%), and Mecklenburg County (6.4%).
