Mecklenburg County had the highest number of Non-Hispanic Black or African American alone population (338,662), followed by Wake County (214,757), and Guilford County (179,512). On the other hand, Graham County had the lowest number of Non-Hispanic Black or African American alone (40), followed by Mitchell County (73), and Clay County (118).
