Based on the US Census Vintage data estimates, in 2011, there were 275,938 people that identified as Non-Hispanic Black or African American alone in Oklahoma and they represented 7.28% of the total population of Oklahoma in 2011. Oklahoma County had the highest number of Non-Hispanic Black or African American alone population (111,274), followed by Tulsa County (64,011), and Comanche County (21,061). On the other hand, Harper County had the lowest number of Non-Hispanic Black or African American alone (2), followed by Cimarron County (6), and Ellis County (13).
