Based on the US Census Vintage data estimates, in 2013, there were 282,197 people that identified as Non-Hispanic Black or African American alone in Oklahoma and they represented 7.32% of the total population of Oklahoma in 2013. Oklahoma County had the highest number of Non-Hispanic Black or African American alone population (115,310), followed by Tulsa County (64,916), and Comanche County (20,458). On the other hand, Harper County had the lowest number of Non-Hispanic Black or African American alone (5), followed by Cimarron County (8), and Roger Mills County (20).

When it comes to the percentage of each county's population that identified as Non-Hispanic Black or African American alone, Comanche County had the highest percentage (16.41%), followed by Oklahoma County (15.25%), and Osage County (11.22%).
