According to the US Census Bureau estimates, in 2014, the net migration rate per 1,000 population for South Dakota was 1.84. Campbell County had the highest net migration rate per 1,000 population (23.82), followed by Lincoln County (20.96), and Fall River County (16.55). On the other hand, Sully County had the lowest net migration rate per 1,000 population (-28.85), followed by Todd County (-24.85), and Jerauld County (-21.87).
