US Percentage of Old Adults that were Obese By State in 2015 (CDC)

Based on data from the CDC, in 2015, 31.1% of old adults in the US were Obese, with a body mass index (BMI) of 30 or more.

Among all states, Louisiana had the highest percentage of its old adult population who were obese (37.7%), followed by West Virginia (37%), Kentucky (36.7%), and Alabama (36.2%).

For the District of Columbia, 31.1% of old adults were obese.
