US Percentage of Old Adults that were Obese By State in 2020 (CDC)

Based on data from the CDC, in 2020, 33.4% of old adults in the US were Obese, with a body mass index (BMI) of 30 or more.

Among all states, Mississippi had the highest percentage of its old adult population who were obese (40.5%), followed by Alabama (40%), Delaware (39.3%), and West Virginia (39%).

For the District of Columbia, 28.3% of old adults were obese.
