Based on the US Census Vintage data estimates, in 2021, there were 3,437,034 people that identified as Non-Hispanic Black or African American alone in Georgia and they represented 31.85% of the total population of Georgia in 2021. Fulton County had the highest number of Non-Hispanic Black or African American alone population (463,709), followed by DeKalb County (397,001), and Gwinnett County (276,410). On the other hand, Towns County had the lowest number of Non-Hispanic Black or African American alone (137), followed by Rabun County (209), and Dade County (242).

When it comes to the percentage of each county's population that identified as Non-Hispanic Black or African American alone, Dougherty County had the highest percentage (70.99%), followed by Hancock County (70.61%), and Clayton County (70.38%).
