Based on the US Census Vintage data estimates, in 2023, there were 3,543,000 people that identified as Non-Hispanic Black or African American alone in Georgia and they represented 32.12% of the total population of Georgia in 2023. Fulton County had the highest number of Non-Hispanic Black or African American alone population (474,868), followed by DeKalb County (398,927), and Gwinnett County (288,519). On the other hand, Towns County had the lowest number of Non-Hispanic Black or African American alone (146), followed by Echols County (233), and Rabun County (234).
