Based on the US Census Vintage data estimates, in 2022, there were 3,495,737 people that identified as Non-Hispanic Black or African American alone in Georgia and they represented 32.03% of the total population of Georgia in 2022. Fulton County had the highest number of Non-Hispanic Black or African American alone population (471,385), followed by DeKalb County (399,713), and Gwinnett County (284,088). On the other hand, Towns County had the lowest number of Non-Hispanic Black or African American alone (130), followed by Rabun County (215), and Glascock County (246).
