According to data from the US BLS, the following US states added the highest number of jobs to the Wholesale Trade industry (not seasonally adjusted) in July, 2003:

  1. Iowa: 1,200
  2. Oregon: 1,200
  3. Washington: 900

On the other hand, the following states added the lowest number of jobs to the Wholesale Trade industry (not seasonally adjusted) in July, 2003:

  1. California: -5,800
  2. Illinois: -1,700
  3. Tennessee: -1,200
