Based on the US Census Vintage data estimates, in 2011, there were 213,030 people that identified as Non-Hispanic Black or African American alone in Nevada and they represented 7.85% of the total population of Nevada in 2011. Clark County had the highest number of Non-Hispanic Black or African American alone population (199,409), followed by Washoe County (8,935), and Nye County (1,169). On the other hand, Esmeralda County had the lowest number of Non-Hispanic Black or African American alone (2), followed by Eureka County (4), and Lander County (22).
