Based on the US Census Vintage data estimates, in 2016, there were 254,665 people that identified as Non-Hispanic Black or African American alone in Nevada and they represented 8.72% of the total population of Nevada in 2016. Clark County had the highest number of Non-Hispanic Black or African American alone population (239,430), followed by Washoe County (9,833), and Nye County (1,264). On the other hand, Eureka County had the lowest number of Non-Hispanic Black or African American alone (12), followed by Esmeralda County (28), and Lander County (41).
