Based on the US Census Vintage data estimates, in 2015, there were 243,188 people that identified as Non-Hispanic Black or African American alone in Nevada and they represented 8.48% of the total population of Nevada in 2015. Clark County had the highest number of Non-Hispanic Black or African American alone population (228,410), followed by Washoe County (9,548), and Nye County (1,200). On the other hand, Eureka County had the lowest number of Non-Hispanic Black or African American alone (13), followed by Esmeralda County (19), and Lander County (38).
