Based on the US Census Vintage data estimates, in 2018, there were 277,943 people that identified as Non-Hispanic Black or African American alone in Nevada and they represented 9.17% of the total population of Nevada in 2018. Clark County had the highest number of Non-Hispanic Black or African American alone population (261,636), followed by Washoe County (10,498), and Nye County (1,428). On the other hand, Eureka County had the lowest number of Non-Hispanic Black or African American alone (17), followed by Esmeralda County (31), and Lander County (42).
