Based on the US Census Vintage data estimates, in 2017, there were 266,726 people that identified as Non-Hispanic Black or African American alone in Nevada and they represented 8.97% of the total population of Nevada in 2017. Clark County had the highest number of Non-Hispanic Black or African American alone population (250,999), followed by Washoe County (10,115), and Nye County (1,344). On the other hand, Eureka County had the lowest number of Non-Hispanic Black or African American alone (12), followed by Esmeralda County (27), and Lander County (42).
