Based on the US Census Vintage data estimates, in 2018, there were 1,386,860 people that identified as Non-Hispanic Black or African American alone in Pennsylvania and they represented 10.83% of the total population of Pennsylvania in 2018. Philadelphia County had the highest number of Non-Hispanic Black or African American alone population (645,715), followed by Allegheny County (160,580), and Delaware County (122,206). On the other hand, Cameron County had the lowest number of Non-Hispanic Black or African American alone (34), followed by Potter County (85), and Juniata County (135).

When it comes to the percentage of each county's population that identified as Non-Hispanic Black or African American alone, Philadelphia County had the highest percentage (40.7%), followed by Delaware County (21.61%), and Forest County (20.39%).
