Based on the US Census Vintage data estimates, in 2011, among all US states and DC, Maine had the highest percentage of its population who identified their race as Non-Hispanic White (94.31%), followed by Vermont (94.13%), and West Virginia (93.01%).
On the other hand, Hawaii had the lowest percentage of its population who identified as Non-Hispanic White (22.55%), followed by District of Columbia (35.35%), and California (39.80%).
