Based on the US Census Vintage data estimates, in 2016, among all US states and DC, Maine had the highest percentage of its population who identified their race as Non-Hispanic White (93.48%), followed by Vermont (93.13%), and West Virginia (92.32%).

On the other hand, Hawaii had the lowest percentage of its population who identified as Non-Hispanic White (22.10%), followed by District of Columbia (36.42%), and California (37.75%).
