Based on the US Census Vintage data estimates, in 2022, among all US states and DC, Maine had the highest percentage of its population who identified their race as Non-Hispanic White (92.11%), followed by Vermont (91.71%), and West Virginia (91.14%).
On the other hand, Hawaii had the lowest percentage of its population who identified as Non-Hispanic White (21.53%), followed by California (34.84%), and New Mexico (37.08%).
