Based on the US Census Vintage data estimates, in 2012, among all US states and DC, Maine had the highest percentage of its population who identified their race as Non-Hispanic White (94.18%), followed by Vermont (94.00%), and West Virginia (92.88%).
On the other hand, Hawaii had the lowest percentage of its population who identified as Non-Hispanic White (22.44%), followed by District of Columbia (35.65%), and California (39.43%).
